We believe that strong partnerships are essential to achieving meaningful and lasting impact. That is why we work closely with our local partners — the Rwandan Quakers and the Friends Career Center — who lead most of the in-country activities. They manage the student application process and provide ongoing support throughout each student’s educational journey. We recognise that funding scholarships alone is not enough; personal encouragement and mentorship are equally important. Our partners regularly visit students in their schools, offering guidance, motivation, and practical support to help them reach their full potential. Mentorship has proved a powerful tool in enabling students to clarify and develop their next steps.
