The SheCreates programme reached an exciting milestone this week as Hilary and Steve visited to meet the 20 remarkable young women at the heart of it.
After a warm welcome and brief introductions from the FCC project team, the floor belonged to the participants. One by one, each budding entrepreneur took her turn to pitch — presenting her business idea, identifying the problems her venture would solve, and outlining her plan to make it a success.
Perhaps most compelling was what each young woman shared about her journey: the lessons learned about the business environment, and — just as importantly — about herself.
It was an afternoon that left little doubt: something significant is taking shape with this group.
