Back in Musanze: FAET’s Sixth Peacebuilding Workshop
The road to Musanze is well paved these days, but crossing Rwanda’s land of a thousand hills never loses its drama. Three hours after leaving Kigali, we arrived at our venue — and shortly afterwards, so did the students. They came by bus, by moto, and if we’re right, a couple made the final stretch on foot.
It was an intensive four days. Under the banner of RESILIENCE sessions ranged across employability skills, self-confidence, trust, and leadership — all woven together with the workshop’s core focus on peace and conflict resolution. The energy in the room reflected the effort it had taken to get there.
All in all, a session well worth the journey.
