With survival the daily priority, it felt impossible to look ahead or believe that things could be different. That changed when sponsorship came into my life.
Being able to attend school regularly, without the worry of fees or missing supplies, made an immediate difference. But it wasn’t just the practical support that mattered. The guidance and encouragement I received helped me believe in myself, set goals, and begin to imagine what my future could look like.
Over time, I grew both academically and as a person — more focused, more motivated, and better equipped with skills in communication, teamwork, and responsibility that I carry with me today. For the first time, I could picture a clear path forward: I want to become a nurse.
